I Get Excited About Weird Things in Shows, Sometimes

I’m currently watching Battlestar Gallactica (concurrent with Mark Watches, which is awesome and hilarious and everyone should start following his blogs) and I finally got to an episode called “Collaborators.”  

Out of all the stuff in this really excellent episode, the thing I got most excited about was at the very end, when a Truth and Reconciliation Commission was proposed in the aftermath of some Really Bad Badness (tm)…  Because I learned all about the South African TRC in human rights law last year, and I totally knew what the show was referencing.

I’m such a nerd.  Also, what is wrong with my brain?
