“On April 14, 2011, our anti-shackling bill, HB 653, was introduced and will be reviewed during the 2012 legislative session. This is the first pro reproductive justice bill introduced in Georgia in 4 years”

Love SPARK! Have gotten to meet some of the people behind the organization. An amazing group of people doing amazing, necessary work.
I remember hearing about this issue when I was interning for the ACLU of Georgia last summer. I also got to work a little bit with SPARK when I helped to put together a brochure/fact sheet for Trans individuals who were thinking about going through the process of legally changing their name and/or sex.
